Shame you don’t have a facebook page, otherwise I would have posted this there.

Thanks to Mark at Ingestre Woodworks for the advice to get the right gate for us. A few email exchanges with great advice meant we ordered the right thing. From ordering to delivery was less than a week and we were kept well informed. Mark contacted me for a couple of clarifications.

Arrived in perfect order from the courier (how often can you say that?).

Now the 7”x7” post was heavy - as expected and that was the only difficult bit to lift with two of us. Once the post was on the ground the rest took 2 hours. Never fitted a gate before, but it was very easy.

Quality is fantastic and it looks great.

It’s always a bit of a gamble ordering things sight-unseen !!!

The gates you made for me arrived exactly when promised yesterday after very helpful ‘phone call from your couriers.

Just have to say that they (the gates) are in every way better than expected !!

Sizing is exact & quality far superior to anything obtainable locally !!

Surprised to find stainless bolts throughout (not galvanized) & neat routing on top rail a nice touch

Hi Mark. Just a note to let you know that your two delivery guys have just brought the table/bench set. It required some skilful manoeuvring, which they managed with good humour! I am delighted with it. It can always be a risk ordering something on-line, but I can honestly say this looks even better than it did on your website. The wood is beautiful and very well finished - love the coach bolts - and many thanks for providing the larger parasol hole. Just hope that Husband is as delighted with it as I am!

A quick note to let you know that the two five bar gates I ordered arrived safely today, and I am absolutely delighted with them. The quality of the wood and your workmanship is excellent. You probably know this in any case but the courier service was also very good.

It will probably be a few days before I get around to fitting them but I will let you know how I get on.

Have taken delivery of the oak gates you made - this afternoon (Sunday). I must say I am very impressed with the delivery (Jock is a very nice guy) and the quality of the gates, posts and ironmongery.
The whole shopping experience has been a pleasure from start to finish with excellent communication throughout.
Just on a week from order to delivery is very good.
I contacted 9 companies for quotations – 2 did not bother to reply, 4 offered standard size gates and the other two were over £800 delivered. Your price was the most competitive.
When I have hung the gates I will take some pictures and send them to you if you want.
I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone who wanted a new gate. Even my neighbour is tempted to replace his 25 year old gate with a new one, after seeing the ones you made.

Just to let you know that my custom oak field gate arrived at 9:30pm today Sunday – That’s 48 hours after I placed my order on a Friday night from over 150 miles away !! – Very impressive!
The delivery service was great – they called twice to check if it was OK to deliver on Sunday, and to give an ETA. It arrived as promised – no complaints!
