Paled Green Oak wicket - up to 4' (1.2m)

This gate will be made to fit your sizes up to 48inches square 1.2m. Just include the size that you require in the comment box provided with payment along with whether you need flat, round or pointed tops.. 3x2.5inch 75x60mm uprights with a 3x1.75inch 75x 45mm z frame, the pales are 3x 3/4 inch 75x20mm. Morticed and tennoned joints glued and screwed together. Supplied with a coat of Teak oil for that glossy look from new. No treatment is required on these oak gates as the timber gets harder as it dries out, you may add any non-sealant colourant in the future if the natural silvery colour of oak isnt to your taste. Expect a life span in excess of 20 years under normal circumstances

Whilst not completely fresh sawn (green), these gates have a higher water content than Air dried,which makes them heavier and therefore there is a risk of slight movement, small dry cracks will also develop in time in warm weather.
