Supplied with a coat of Teak oil for that glossy look from new. No treatment is required on these oak gates as the timber gets harder as it dries out, you may add any non-sealant colourant in the future if the natural silvery colour of oak isnt to your taste. Expect a life span in excess of 20 years under normal circumstances
Whilst not completely fresh sawn (green), these gates have a higher water content than Air dried,which makes them heavier and therefore there is a risk of slight movement, small dry cracks will also develop in time in warm weather.
